ADVENT DÉCOR
As you stroll through the city center, you will discover numerous Christmas trees, nut crackers, Nativity scenes and many more symbols of Christmas, which have successfully added to the overall Advent atmosphere and dressed Zagreb in the attire it has been looking forward to all year long.
KALEIDOSCOPE
The main city square proudly displays the largest Christmas tree in the city this Advent. Decorated with ornaments, it invites gatherings, singing and celebration. The arrangement of snow-covered fir trees and lights creates another beautiful snowy postcard that will travel around the sun for the next year and represent the best European Advent – Advent Zagreb.

MAŽURANIĆ BALL
Mažuranac sends us an invitation for a classic ball in an open-air hall this Advent, under the dance of crystal chandeliers and celestial stars. The dress code requires a wide smile and the brave ones can embellish the dance floor with long dresses, tailcoats and top hats. Classical music accompanied by quartet concerts, trios and soloists, along with a special guest for the opening and closing concerts, will entice us with dance steps. Experience the fine bourgeois atmosphere in a slightly different, holiday manner.

GRAND BIG CHRISTMAS
Tiny, glass, glittering and colorful decorations, bells, snowflakes, and baubles, during Advent and only on King Petar Svačić Square, spread out in dimensions to become huge decorative giants. Oversized sculptures of otherwise small Christmas ornaments this year create a supernatural walk through the paths of Svačić Square and the park. Take a walk and enjoy the great little wonders accompanied by light Christmas music.

POLAR DREAM
Inspired by the aurora borealis and polar expanses, Grič Tunnel invites us to dream only our Polar Dream once again this year. With dream instructions, this most fairytale-like passage into the future, adorned with unusual decorations that depict the heavenly dance of the northern lights, compels us to pause for a moment and discard an unrealized past. And then, reborn and filled with fresh ideas, we start again, because the brilliance is at the end of the tunnel.

ICE FAIRY TALE
Imagine coming to a children's park. But it's not just any park. It's the most fun, most crystalline and most icy children's park you can imagine. And so much more than that! The leading role in it belongs to the good Snow Queen who fulfills children's every dream. We're revealing a secret for the first time and whispering that this Advent Ribnjak Park has just such a park. In it, the Ice Fairy Tale becomes a reality and the light installations awaken the happiest feelings in both little and not-so-little children.

NUTCRACKERS
For over a century, this square in the heart of Zagreb has been filled with art, both inside and out, in the building of the Croatian National Theater. This Advent, these two aspects of the square will transform into art in Christmas attire – outside with light decorations and oversized Nutcrackers and inside the atrium and foyer will be filled with the joyful Christmas spirit. So, visitors can take a peek at this magnificent neobaroque building and immortalize that magic with a perfect Christmas photo during the afternoon hours!

TREE IN OKTOGON

Kaleidoscope represents the fundamental concept for decorating the Christmas tree in the Oktogon passage this Advent, a location known for advanced artistic concepts. Advent is an ideal time for change and just as colors and shapes change in a kaleidoscope, so do seasons, years, temperature in the air and the emotions within us. We observe but also create our kaleidoscopes."
